
Lizzy Lehman was born in Evanston, IL and moved to Portland, Oregon at the age of 18. In the middle of college she was given a homemade journal and began writing her own songs. After spending several years living in Portland she attended the inspirational Kerrville Folk Festival, a monumental folk fest held on the same property in Kerrville, Texas for over 40 years. She moved to Austin, Texas in 2011, billed as the "live music capital of the world.
