About Lives of the Obscure
Glacial Records is proud to announce the upcoming vinyl and digital release of Lives of the Obscure’s Deathfête EP. Deathfête was tracked, mixed, and mastered at Alan Douches’ West West Side studio in Newburgh, New York and features performances by members of Park Ranger, Joshua, and the Nervous Band. With this release, the band’s first, Lives of the Obscure appears out of the ether with a mature and original sound that freshly combines the nuanced dark pop of XTC with the edge and angularity of the Modest Mouse variety.
