L.Y.A. was formed in 2004 on the westcoast of Jutland in Holstebro, by Jonas Lynge (Guitar, Vocals), Jonas Thaysen (Drums) and Palle Skovhede (Bass), all from the city's skate environment In 2004 the band began playing small concerts and parties in Holstebro and the surrounding area and quickly realized that they played harder and faster than everyone else around. L.Y.A. decided to take it to the next level and moved to the Copenhagen music scene.
