Scottish Fiddle player Lindsay Ritch was born in Glasgow and began playing the violin at the age of seven. She studied classical violin throughout her school days then joined a folk group and touring the Highlands where she learned a more traditional style which she has stuck with ever since. Lindsay released her first solo album 'Lindsay Ritch I' in 1999 featuring traditional music and covers, and now has five albums. Her latest album 'The Calm before the Storm' showcases Lindsay's own compositions.
