“Lightsystem have been pounding out and polishing their atmospheric art rock since 2008, when drummer John Kyle and guitarist and vocalist Danny Byrne joined forces in Los Angeles. After recording and self-releasing the Lightsystem EP, 2009, they performed throughout LA and Southern California with the help of a revolving lineup of musicians until 2011 saw the addition of Jason Greenly on bass, solidifying the group.
