About Leslie Tay
Leslie Tay, born Leslie Edjila K.Tay 13 May 1989 in Malmö, is a Swedish music producer, songwriter and singer. Tay grew up in Seved in the district of southern Sofielund in Malmö, something he also portrayed in his music. Large parts of his upbringing in a problem-heavy living environment are depicted in two documentaries by Stefan Berg. "Pojkar" (2004), revolves around the committed deputy principal Per Horneij at Sofielundskolan in Malmö, where Tay was then one of the pupils.
