About Leslie and Lucas
Leslie and Lucas are a DIY iphone recodring duo. The pair recorded their futon EP entitled "The Dovercourt Ditties". Using an iphone each song was recorded in one take on a cold Canadian winter's eve. Paying modern homage to the old recording methods the two have learned appreciate the flaws and background noises (including the occasional cameo by their dog Hubble) that occur in one-take bare bones recordings. The concept album was made to honour musicians who had their songs recorded on their front porches by traveling Smithsonian archivists.
