About Lavish
There are two artists using the name Lavish: 1. Lavish were a Gold Coast band which started in January 1992, when Gary Beavis joined what was left of the Art Collection. The lineup was Brett Layton, Gary Beavis, Nigel Lacey, Richard Nixon, Daniel Petersen and a young guy from Newcastle named Nathan on drums. A few months in we dropped Nathan, and in July began writing commercially for Brett's cousin Iain Archer. The writing phase was prolific and will soon be a matter for the courts.
