Last One Picked is an alternative Americana rock band from Oakland, California. The band is similar to Counting Crows, Gin Blossoms and Matchbox Twenty. They have been playing events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Reno/Tahoe, and other places in the Western United States. The first album, "Strangers & Consequences" released in August 2007 has 12 original tracks. In 2005, singer/songwriter Chip Johnson converted Last One Picked from a fledgling prog-rock act to its current "faux-alt-country" iteration.
