About Lasse Thoresen
Lasse Thoresen (born 1949) is a norwegian composer, who is often associated with contemporary music. He is educated by the Music conservatory in Oslo (later Norwegian Academy of Music) under Finn Mortensen (1972), and by Werner Kaegi (Utrecht, 1973). Since 1975 he has been teaching and researching in the fields of electrophony, sonology and composition, and is now professor of composition at the Norwegian Academy of Music.
