About Las Flores Project
Las Flores Project is the moniker of Brooklyn-based producer Christian Banks. "Las Flores Project", aptly named after the geographical area of Banks' musical beginnings, came into conception in 2005, but did not become a full time endeavor until late 2006. After a year of recording, Las Flores Project unveiled the debut album "Colores y Memorias"in 2008. Using a method of sample-based sequencing, turntablism, and live instrumentation, "Colores y Memorias" presented 11 compositions of heavily textured melodies and driving drum breaks
