About Lara Martelli
July 2001: Lara Martelli went on stage to an awestruck audience in Athens, Georgia - USA. There was an almost religious silence in the small underground club. Lara stood there musically naked with nothing more than an acoustic guitar to dress her song. Stunning Someone asked: “Where in the Hell is She From ???” In 2001 the young singer-songwriter brought her band from Rome, Italy to record her album “Orchidea Porpora”, an album that quickly gained vast attention from both press and audience.
