Larry Thurman Pretlow II (born June 19, 1989 in Washington, D.C., United States), is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer and politician. He is more commonly known by his stage name LaPret. He was a founding member of the rap group Profound Intent and the Hip-Hop duo Keen Starz . He first earned recognition in 2012 with the release of his solo single Problem In Harlem and was dubbed the Rapper-Politician or Rapper-in-Politician by the Washington City Paper.
