About La Sonora Santanera
La Sonora Santanera (Mexico 1955 - present) is one of the biggest and most famous groups of the Mexican tropical music that has been consolidated with a unique style popularly influenced by danzón, mambo, bolero, rumba, chachacha, guaracha and cumbia, songs that are part of the collective memory of Mexico. The concept was created by musician and trumpeter Colorado Tabasco Carlos Vera. Currently only three of original members are part of the Internacional Sonora Santanera
