The story of La Revolte Esthetique began in 2001 when the three members attended a concert and decided to start their own band. Having grown up in the 80's, the music of that era is a big influence for the members of this band. LRE has it's own view on the creative process, so they don't follow the "rules" of making music. Instead, they create music that is very difficult to label; is it punk? is it new wave? is it rock? what the hell is it??? that's not important
