KYU is the name of four artists represented on Last.fm. Not to be confused with kyü. 1) Kyu (born Daniel Kim, Korean: Kim Dongkyu) is an American singer. He gained recognition as a contestant on the 2020 survival show I-LAND, where he competed under the stage name Daniel and became a finalist, though he did not make it into the debut lineup. Kyu began his K-pop training under YG Entertainment from 2018 to 2019. He later joined Belift Lab (2019–2020) and participated in I-LAND.
