Kyron and the Strangels are an eight-piece band from Northern Ireland, whose music is in the general area of rootsy blues and classic rock, except sometimes with a catchier pop element. Lead singer Kyron Bourke has a husky voice that has been compared to Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen, something that's particularly noticeable in quieter numbers.
