About Kurt Drabek
Kurt Drabek (25 March 1912 – 22 March 1995, Berlin) was a German accordion player, composer, and bandleader. In 1942, he arranged the accordion version of Fred Raymond’s song "Es geht alles vorüber". After World War II, he worked for RIAS. His best-known composition is the theme song "Kommt ein Wölkchen angeflogen" for the West German edition of "Sandmännchen". Over the course of his career, he composed more than 1,100 works.
