About Kuricorder Quartet

Name in Japanese: 栗コーダーカルテット (<-- right tag), クリコーダーカルテット, くりこーだーかるてっと Years Active: 1994 - Present Kuricorder Quartet is a poly-instrumental band whose four members perform mainly on the recorder. The name Kuricorder is a combination of the word "kuri" (chestnut) and recorder. Kuricorder Quartet was loosely formed in the summer of 1994 when the four members, none of whom specialized in the recorder at that time, came together to back up former Tama member Toshiaku Chiku.
