
Kulcha Knox - born on April 15, 1965, in Manchester, Jamaica - is the son of the late Jamaican broadcaster Jeff "Free I" Dixon who was murdered alongside Peter Tosh and to whom this album is a tribute. "Free I" Dixon recorded a song entitled "The Rock" for Coxsone Dodd's Studio One label back in the late sixties and it's possible to detect a similarity in the voice between father and son.
