About Kristina Kalpee
Kristina was born in London, to a mother who is Filipino and a father who is Trinidadian-Indian. She has one sister and her mother brought them up as Catholic; she took them to Mass weekly and this helped to nurture their love for the Mass. The Mass is where Kristina first began to become aware of the presence of our God. As a young child, she remembers her mum kneeling down to pray on the wooden pews. As Kristina knelt down too, she would always wonder what God looked like.
