About Knob a Siesta
The danish duo, Knob A Siesta, was formed in 2003 and consists of Casper Bach Hegstrup and Christian Skjødt, and it brings together these two very different musicians through their shared love of electronic music. Without the use of actual melodies or set rhythmic structure, the music shifts from quiet, droning planes of sound through beautiful sonorous passages towards noisier spheres. In its non-verbal form, the music is open to interpretation, inviting the listener to make their own associations in this meeting of experimental music.
