About Knee Deep Shag
A funk-rock band based in Kalamazoo, MI, Knee Deep Shag is/was comprised of five members: lead singer Matt Gross, guitarist Phil Barry, bassist Mike Ferust, drummer Jeff Moehle, and keyboardist Rob Cookman. The band is currently on an indefinite hiatus, but performed with Domestic Problems at the Intersection in Grand Rapids on New Year's Eve, 2006. Their song "Contentment Couch" was also played on CBS' Early Show on March 31st, 2007 during a segment about couches.
