Their name comes from the austrian secessionist painter Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) Marco Soellner - Vocals, guitars Paolo Soellner - drums Davide Pesola - bass Francesco Conte - guitars The band formed in 1999 in Rome, Italy. The band recorded its first self-produced promo in May 2000 called "Secession makes post-modern music" at The Outer Sound Studios by Novembre’s ex drummer Giuseppe Orlando. The good feedback allowed them to sign with a music label, a young italian label called "My Kingdom Music".
