About Klaus Kopitz
Klaus Martin Kopitz was born in Stendal in 1955. and grew up in Tangerhütte near Magdeburg. From 1975 to 1980 he studied at the Berlin Academy of Music "Hanns Eisler" in the following subjects Composition, piano and musicology. From 1982 to 1984 he pursued private studies at the Swiss musicologist Prof. Dr. Harry Goldschmidt and from 1985 to 1987 was a master student of Prof. Paul-Heinz Dittrich at the Academy of Arts of the GDR.
