Kick Evrything is a Vancouver-based band whose electronic-dance-rock sounds have garnered them comparisons to the likes of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Kills, Blondie, and ESG. The band’s first release, This I is Demented and Possibly Deceased, was recorded lo-fi over 8 months at home and while traveling and released under their label, Party Hat Records, in September 2009. The record has an intimate, raw quality indicative of the spontaneity and experimentation that are key to their songwriting process.
