About Kerry McNew
Kerry McNew was born in Frankfort Indiana on the 31st of May, 1953. His first band was with ( Grignard Regent ) in the early 70's. ( Ron Smith ) the founder of the group played Lead & Rhythm guitar & Vocals. They played a lot of cover songs & songs that Ron wrote. Kerry McNew played (drums) & Bob Greeno played ( Bass). Then Kerry switched to guitar & Bobby Sharp joined the Band on Bass & with a new drummer Alan Gates. The name was changed to ( Windsail ).
