About Kent Gomez
kent "kenny" gomez, born in Bellvue Hospital and raised in East Harlem ("EL BARRIO"). First band and age 14. Around 16, was recruited by Orquesta La New Yorker along with a guy named Hector Perez whom later on was known as Hector La Voz. The Kent Gomez Orchestra played various gigs, alot of them, POZO'S (afamous/infamous after hours club in El Barrio, which also help Pozo paint the interior all black and did all the artwork on walls in blacklight neon paint).
