About Kemani Tatyos Efendi
Kemani Tatyos Ekserciyan, known as Kemani Tatyos Efendi, Tatyos Enkserciyan, Tateos Eñserciyan (born 1855 in Istanbul; † 16. March 1913) holds a unique position in the history of Ottoman classical music. He was among the last of the classicists to compose in the style of the lale devri or the Tulip Age (1718-30) when music flourished most in the Ottoman Empire...
