Kelmo, also known as Kelley Bates, is a Canadian Drum and Bass producer from Toronto. He is known for his deep love for drum and bass, jungle, and UK Garage music. A 2020 bootleg of Ellie Goulding's "Burn" gained him recognition, landing on BBC Radio 1. He co-founded the music brand, record label, and internet radio station Lately Bass. Kelmo's music is rooted in the underground sounds of Toronto, with a focus on upfront drum and bass funk. His track "Down At The Function" received remixes from Mutt and Operator P.
