Kechechi oglu Mahammad (also spelled Kechechi oghlu Mehemmed, 1864 - 1940) was a mugam singer from Azerbaijan. He studied singing in the school of Kharrat Gulu and Meshedi Isi in Shusha. He performed the mugam "Bayatiqachar" perfectly and in a most original way. A number of mugams, tasnif and folklore songs, performed by Mehemmed, were recorded on gramophone by companies "Sport-Record" (Warsaw) and "Extraphone" (Kiev). In 1926 Uzeyir Hadjibeyov invited him to the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Society, where he trained young singers.
