KD Tha 1 (born KD Smith in Nashville,TN) is a southern based rap artist who became known in the cities underground scene as being a producer of and member of Family 1st, a underground rap group from Nashville ,TN. But well before he joined up with that group he was already rapping at 16 with his friends BMW and Tredogg. Even though they didn't have access to good musical producing they made a mixtape with 10 songs that got thier names out in east nashville.
