Kaspar von Urbach was a noise band formed in 2002 in Prague, CZ by K!amm. Originaly a four, later three member line-up focused on an obstinate and deeply unnatural sound-mining: partly from things and devices originally designed for very different purposes and partly from musicial instruments, effects and processors that are broken, left-off, cheep, despised, uncorrectly used, crap etc. Accidental feedbacks, unintentional noise and other „enemies“ of musical process had become important factors of KvU‘s creative effort.
