Kapitan Da was formed in 2004 firstly as Autopilot, next as Polen before finally settling on "Kapitan Da". The name taken from an unfortunate unemployed inhabitant of Flint, Michigan who after losing his job and later his mind, named himself Captain Dah. As the group was founded in Poland, it was decided to 'Polerise' the name. The group is extremely versatile. Despite being a four-piece band consisting of 2 guitars, lead vocalist, backing vocals
