About Kaj Genell
Kaj Bernhard Genell was born in Gothenburg on the 14th of March 1944. He grew up their in a small family, not getting any musical education. In his teens though he bought a tenorsaxophone and began to play bebop in a school band. Later he went to university and studied philosophy. He wrote a couple of books, but all the time played tenor saxophone. Much later a piano, a Korg was bought, and a computer, and he began to write music. He still is a complete autodidact, and will probably continue with that.
