K funk (alternately spelled Kfunque or K funque) is a pseudo-rapper from rural Pennsylvania, who began rapping in middle school, where she used the medium as a way of delivering oral presentations for classes, including such favorites as the Chief Cornplanter Rap and the Medieval Rap. Her music career went on to include a few more melodic, guitar-driven songs, which were combined with her raps and released on two albums (Breaking the Awkward Silence and Have a Funky Christmas, while still in high school.
