His American and Irish ancestors may have endowed the British guitarist, vocalist and singer-songwriter Justin Lavash with sensitive perception to classic sources of contemporary music, especially blues and folk. He can use the classic elements of those roots in his work; he is also able to modify them to suit his intentions entirely. Lavash lives in the Czech Republic and he tours Europe on a regular basis; he has become a much-welcome guest in many festivals of various music styles as well as in the programs of prestigious club stages.
