About Jurgita Adamonyte
Lithuanian mezzo-soprano Jurgita Adamonytė studied at Lithuanian Academy of Music (1997-2004) with Vladimiras Prudnikovas where she obtained a Master of Music degree. In June 2006 she graduated from postgraduate Opera course at the Royal Academy of Music in London with distinction where she studied with Anne Howells and Audrey Hyland. During her time in London, Ms. Adamonytė won the Opera Rara Bel Canto Prize, the Isabel Jay Prize and the Ludmilla Andrew Russian Song Prize.
