About Jungle Funk
Jungle Funk is the synthesis of some top notch studio and gigging professionals from the late 80's and early 90's. Although a 3 piece, Jungle Funk has a much bigger sound than one would expect due to their seamless meshing of loops, samples and effects into a live a peformance. Composed of the rhythm section from Living Colour (Will Calhoun on drums, loops, etc, studio/effects ace Doug Wimbish) and vocalist Vinx, Jungle Funk recorded an eponymous album and released it 1999.
