About Jouni Hokkanen
As a doublebass mastermind, highly experienced freelancer, sophisticated teacher and prolific composer located in western Finland, Jouni Hokkanen has cultivated himself in all the varying crafts of musicianship for over 30 years. His debyt full-lenght "In One's Element" was released in 2004, followed by the highly acclaimed "Jazzoo" in 2008. Jouni Hokkanen started recording his next studio album in early 2013 - this time in quartet format thus omitting harmony instrument.
