About Josh Arcoleo
Josh Arcoleo (b. 1989) is an English jazz saxophonist. Born into a musical family, Arcoleo began studying saxophone at the age of thirteen with Pee Wee Ellis. At eighteen he gained a place at the Royal Academy of Music, from whose jazz course he graduated with a first-class honours degree, as well as winning a 2011 Yamaha Parliamentary Jazz Scholarship and the Kenny Wheeler Jazz Prize. The latter is a recording contract with Edition Records with his debut album to be released in the spring of 2012.
