The year is 1999, "Lil Joon" and two of his friends pick up a computer mic and record there first song. The song was terrible, the effort to recreate an S.U.C./SwishaHouse-type song sparked a passion for 11 year-old Joon Cartier. The freestyles became better with every record button pressed, the delivery was en pointe by the time Joon Cartier wrote his first verse. The music was growing incredibly by a very creative artist. By High School, Joon Cartier was known by his creative outlet.
