jon and the angry flowers is a one-man alternative rock/indie rock band formed in Queens, New York in 2009. The only member is Jon (Guitar/vocals/bass/percussion [drums, drum machines, tambourine]) Jon's guitar sound is very similar to the sounds of bands of the early - mid 1990s, featuring heavily distorted guitars into overdriven tube amps and the inverse of that; jangly clean guitars played on amps at really low volume (in other words, he researched the rigs of some people and copied it)
