Jolene has a really nifty guitar, a laptop, her baby sister's Little Tykes piano, weird rhythm instruments her mother bought largely to decorate the parlour, and a lifetime of listening to her dad's music and singing murder ballads in the bath. She wishes she played cello, piano, theremin, saw, or something else with a cool name, or at least had a microphone to make less lo-fi recordings, but is making do with what she's got. She has an odd habit of re-interpreting traditional ballads as being about vampires.
