
Johnny Kendall (real name: Johan Donker Kaat, born 1941 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands) is a Dutch rock & roll singer best known for his years with Amsterdam rock & roll outfit, Johnny Kendall & the Heralds (1965-1968), who enjoyed considerable Dutch chart success with their 1965 version of 'St. James Infirmary'. The group was remarkably succesful in Italy, where they performed a lot. After the demis of The Heralds, Kendall formed the Johnny Kendall Selection.
