John Shadow is a 17-year-old rapper, singer and songwriter from Singapore who has been rapping since April 2020. He started off by posting his covers on Instagram which eventually gained him a small following on Instagram. He also posted his covers to Tiktok starting at the end of 2020 and has since grown to over 9,000 followers and his videos amassing millions of views. He has also released two successful songs under his belt, "Loving You Less" and his first rap song, "No Reply" which has amassed thousands of streams on Spotify.
