
John Reed Club were a Newtown-based Sydney band from the mid to late 1990's consisting of Pete Lusty (currently co-manager of Ivy League Records), James Roden (current lead singer of Sydney band The City Lights), Cameron Emerson-Elliott (currently a guitarist in Youth Group), and Richard Weinman. They had two releases. First was a 7" single a-side Destroyer / b-sides Go Home / Rocket Peddles the first release for label Ivy League Records. They then got signed to EMI and put out a 1998 EP called Death Metal
