John Moose is a band with its roots in the deep wild woods of Värmland, Sweden. John Moose is also the main character in the stories the band narrate through its songs. The stories tell a tale of escapism, where he finds himself stuck in the ambivalence between the civilization and its counterpart. The band achieved some international acclaim for the release of their debut, self-titled album, which was first released as a phone app where the music was only listenable when the phone was in a forest area.
