John Meed is a singer-songwriter based in Cambridge, UK (Flatlands). John was born in Manchester (Queen Mary), grew up in Rochdale, Lancashire (Spotland Road) and later moved to Leeds (missing The last bus to Leeds too often). His songwriting influences include John Lennon, Christy Moore and Al Stewart. He released his first CD, The children of the sea, in December 2005, the second CD, Powder of the stars, in January 2007, the third CD, 'When the music ends' in April 2009
