About John Matarazzo
Italian born and New Jersey raised, John Matarazzo began his music career studying piano and guitar, leading him to work as a musician, studio session worker, supporting tour artist and producer for many pop and world music artists. After landing a music publishing deal with Cheery Lane Publishing, John was fortunate to have worked as a guitarist with Ike & Tine Turner, and later for Sly Stone. With a solo career, John began to support the likes of Sly and The Family Stone and Weather Report as an opening act on tour.
